Open › File (Ctrl+O) opens a .mlx or .m file. Folder sets the project root shown in the files panel. You can also pass a file when starting the program: MatLivre.exe script.mlx.
Files changed by another program (a text editor, Claude Code, git) reload in their tab. A tab with unsaved changes asks instead whether to reload the file or keep your version, and MatLivre never saves over a change it has not shown you.
Data files: text and CSV, Excel workbooks (readtable, xlsread, writetable), MAT files, images, audio, JSON, XML, and zip and tar archives.
