Argument Definitions

`addOptional`	Adds an optional positional argument to an inputParser.
`addParameter`	Adds a name-value argument to an inputParser.
`addParamValue`	Older name of addParameter for adding a name-value argument.
`addRequired`	Adds a required positional argument to an inputParser.
`inputname`	Returns the name of the variable passed as a given argument of the current function.
`inputParser`	Parses and validates the arguments of a function.
`mfilename`	Returns the name of the file that is running.
`mustBeA`	Checks that a value belongs to one of the given classes.
`mustBeFile`	Checks that text names existing files.
`mustBeFinite`	Checks that no element is Inf, -Inf or NaN.
`mustBeFloat`	Checks that a value is of class double or single.
`mustBeFolder`	Checks that text names existing folders.

Error Handling

`assert`	Raises an error if a condition is false.
`error`	Throws an error, stopping the running code unless it is caught.
`lasterr`	Returns the message of the most recent error.
`lasterror`	Returns a struct describing the most recent error (obsolete).
`lastwarn`	Returns or sets the most recent warning message.
`onCleanup`	Creates an object that runs a function when it is cleared or goes out of scope.
`warning`	Displays a warning message and records it, without stopping the program.

Scope Variables and Generate Names

`assignin`	Assigns a value to a variable in the base or caller workspace.
`genvarname`	Builds valid, unique variable names from text (superseded by matlab.lang.makeValidName).
`isvarname`	Tests whether text is a valid variable name.
`matlab.lang.makeUniqueStrings`	Makes strings unique by appending numbers to the ones that collide.
`matlab.lang.makeValidName`	Converts text into valid variable or field names.
`mislocked`	Tests whether a function file is locked in memory.
`mlock`	Locks the running function in memory so that clear does not reset it.
`munlock`	Allows a locked function or script file to be cleared from memory again.
`namelengthmax`	Maximum length of a variable, function or field name.
