`bubblesize`

Sets the smallest and largest bubble size, in points.

Syntax

bubblesize([minsize maxsize])

Sets the range of on-screen bubble diameters.

sizes = bubblesize

Returns the current range.

Description

The smallest data value (or the lower bubblelim) is drawn with diameter minsize and the largest with maxsize; values in between are scaled so that the area is proportional to the data.

Input arguments

[minsize maxsize]: Two positive numbers, in points, with minsize <= maxsize.

Output arguments

sizes: Current range as a two-element vector.

Example

Larger bubbles

bubblechart(1:3, [1 3 2], [5 50 20]);
sizes = bubblesize([8 40])

Output

sizes = 1×2

     8    40
