`camproj`

Gets or sets the projection type of the camera.

Syntax

camproj('orthographic')

Uses parallel projection.

camproj('perspective')

Uses perspective projection, where distant parts look smaller.

proj = camproj

Returns the current projection.

Description

Orthographic projection keeps parallel lines parallel and sizes independent of distance, which is typical for technical plots. Perspective gives a more natural look for scenes.

Input arguments

type: 'orthographic' or 'perspective'.

Output arguments

proj: Character vector with the current projection.
