`clearInstallationValue`

Removes the installation value of a setting.

Syntax

clearInstallationValue(S)

Clears the installation layer of setting S; the other layers are kept.

Description

The installation layer holds values set for a whole installation by an administrator, below the personal and temporary layers in priority. clearInstallationValue empties that layer only. If the setting has no installation value the call does nothing.

Input arguments

S: A matlab.settings.Setting object.

Example

g = addGroup(s, 'demo');

clearInstallationValue(a)
disp(hasInstallationValue(a))
disp(a.ActiveValue)
