Syntax

Y = erfi(X)

Evaluates erfi(x) = -i*erf(i*x) for each element.

Description

The function equals 2/sqrt(pi) times the integral from 0 to x of exp(t^2). Unlike erf, which saturates at 1, erfi grows without bound, roughly like exp(x^2)/x. It is odd, and erfi(0) is 0.

Input arguments

X: Numeric or symbolic array.

Output arguments

Y: Array of the same size. It is real for real X.
