incenters
Legacy form of incenter for TriRep and DelaunayTri objects.
Category: Mathematics > Computational Geometry
Syntax
IC = incenters(TR)
Incenters of all simplices.
IC = incenters(TR, T)
Only for the simplices in T.
[IC, r] = incenters(___)
Also returns the inradii.
Description
incenters is the older plural name of incenter used with TriRep and DelaunayTri. It returns the center of the circle (sphere) inscribed in each simplex and its radius, with the same values as incenter.
Input arguments
TR- A
DelaunayTriorTriRepobject. T- Optional simplex indices.
Output arguments
IC- Incenter coordinates, one row per simplex.
r- Inradii.
Example
Incenters with DelaunayTri
x = [0 1 1 0 0.5]';
y = [0 0 1 1 0.5]';
DL = DelaunayTri(x, y);
IC = incenters(DL)
Output
IC = 4×2

0.5000 0.2071
0.2071 0.5000
