`more`

Controls paging of long command window output.

Syntax

more off

Shows output continuously, without pausing.

more on

Pauses after each page of output.

more(n)

Sets the page length to n lines.

Description

With paging on, long output stops after a page and waits for a key. Scripts that print a lot usually start with more off so they run without interaction.

Input arguments

n: Number of lines per page.

Example

more off
for k = 1:3
    disp(k)
end

Output

     1
     2
     3

Notes

MatLivre has no pager, so output is never held back and more has no effect.
