`rendererinfo`

Returns details about the graphics renderer used by a figure or axes.

Syntax

info = rendererinfo

Describes the renderer of the current axes.

info = rendererinfo(ax)

Describes the renderer of the axes ax.

Description

This is the modern replacement for opengl info. The fields identify the graphics stack that draws the axes, which helps when diagnosing rendering problems or deciding whether hardware acceleration is in use.

Input arguments

ax: Optional axes handle.

Output arguments

info: Struct with fields such as GraphicsRenderer, Vendor, Version and RendererDevice.
