Colormap that shades from magenta to yellow.

Syntax

map = spring

Returns the colormap with the default number of rows.

map = spring(m)

Returns m colors.

Description

The red channel stays at 1, the blue channel falls linearly from 1 to 0 and the green channel rises linearly from 0 to 1. The result is a bright map from magenta to yellow, one of four seasonal maps with summer, autumn and winter.

Input arguments

m: Number of colors, a nonnegative integer.

Output arguments

map: m-by-3 matrix of RGB values between 0 and 1.
