`zticks`

Sets or gets the positions of the z-axis tick marks.

Syntax

zticks(values)

Places z ticks at the given values.

t = zticks

Returns the current tick positions.

zticks('auto')

Returns to automatic tick placement.

Description

Explicit ticks are useful for highlighting meaningful levels. Setting them switches tick mode to manual, which also keeps them fixed when the data changes. zticks sets the ZTick property of the axes.

Input arguments

values: Vector of increasing positions.

Output arguments

t: Row vector of tick positions.
