ellipticCK
Complementary complete elliptic integral of the first kind.
Category: Mathematics > Mathematical Functions
Syntax
K1 = ellipticCK(m)
Returns K(1 - m), the complete integral ellipticK at the complementary parameter.
Description
ellipticCK(m) is denoted K' in the theory. The ratio K'/K fixes the nome of the elliptic functions (see ellipticNome), and ellipticCK grows without bound as m goes to 0.
Input arguments
m- Parameter,
0 <= m <= 1for real results.
Output arguments
K1- Array of the same size as
m.
Example
Complement of K
m = 0.75;
ellipticCK(m)
ellipticK(1 - m)
Output
ans = 1.6858
ans = 1.6858
