ellipticCPi
Complementary complete elliptic integral of the third kind.
Category: Mathematics > Mathematical Functions
Syntax
P1 = ellipticCPi(n, m)
Returns ellipticPi(n, 1 - m).
Description
It is the complete integral of the third kind taken at the complementary parameter, in the same way as ellipticCK and ellipticCE for the first and second kinds. It is useful in period formulas for pendulum and orbit problems.
Input arguments
n- Characteristic of the integral.
m- Parameter, with
0 <= m <= 1.
Output arguments
P1- Array formed by broadcasting
nandm.
Example
Complement of Pi
ellipticCPi(0.3, 0.2)
ellipticPi(0.3, 0.8)
Output
ans = 2.7938
ans = 2.7938
