pagectranspose
Conjugate-transposes each page of an N-D array.
Category: Language Fundamentals > Operators and Elementary Operations
Syntax
B = pagectranspose(A)
Swaps the first two dimensions of A page by page and conjugates the values.
Description
It applies A' to each 2-D page A(:,:,k). For real data it is identical to pagetranspose. For complex data the conjugation matters when pages are later multiplied, as in pagemtimes(A, 'ctranspose', A, 'none').
Input arguments
A- Array with 2 or more dimensions.
Output arguments
B- Array with the first two dimensions swapped and every element conjugated.
Example
A = cat(3, [1+2i 3], [4 5-1i]);
B = pagectranspose(A);
size(B)
B(:, :, 1)
Output
ans = 1×3
2 1 2
ans = 2×1 complex
