Category: Mathematics > Elementary Math
Syntax
Y = cscd(X)
Returns the cosecant of each element of X, in degrees.
Description
cscd(X) is the cosecant of X degrees, that is 1 ./ sind(X). It is exact at angles such as 90 (result 1) and 30 (result 2). At multiples of 180 degrees the result is infinite.
Input arguments
X- Numeric array of any size.
Output arguments
Y- Array of the same size as
X.
Example
Cosecant in degrees
cscd([30 90 150])
Output
ans = 1×3
2 1 2
