acscd
Inverse cosecant of each element, with the result in degrees.
Category: Mathematics > Elementary Math
Syntax
Y = acscd(X)
Returns the inverse cosecant of each element of X, in degrees.
Description
acscd(X) is the degree counterpart of acsc: the angle in degrees whose cosecant is X. For abs(X) >= 1 the result lies in [-90, 90], so acscd(2) is 30.
Input arguments
X- Numeric array of any size.
Output arguments
Y- Array of the same size as
X, in degrees.
Example
Inverse cosecant in degrees
acscd([1 2 -2])
Output
ans = 1×3
90.0000 30.0000 -30.0000
