ezplot3
Plots a 3-D parametric curve from three coordinate functions of a parameter.
Category: Graphics > 2-D and 3-D Plots
Syntax
ezplot3(x, y, z)
Plots the curve (x(t), y(t), z(t)) for 0 < t < 2*pi.
ezplot3(x, y, z, [tmin tmax])
Uses the given range of the parameter.
h = ezplot3(___)
Also returns the line handle.
Description
The three functions are sampled together over the parameter range and drawn as one space curve. This is the older interface; fplot3 is the current one.
Input arguments
x, y, z- Function handles or character vectors that depend on
t. [tmin tmax]- Range of the parameter
t.
Output arguments
h- Handle to the 3-D line.
Example
Helix
ezplot3(@(t) cos(t), @(t) sin(t), @(t) t, [0 6*pi])
In the app, the figure is drawn below the code.
