ezpolar
Plots a function given in polar form, radius as a function of angle.
Category: Graphics > 2-D and 3-D Plots
Syntax
ezpolar(f)
Plots r = f(theta) for 0 < theta < 2*pi.
ezpolar(f, [a b])
Uses the angle range [a b].
h = ezpolar(___)
Also returns the line handle.
Description
The function is sampled over the angle range and drawn on polar axes with circles and angle labels. Use polarplot when you already have vectors of angles and radii.
Input arguments
f- Function handle or character vector in
theta, giving the radius. [a b]- Angle range in radians.
Output arguments
h- Handle to the line.
Example
Cardioid
ezpolar(@(t) 1 + cos(t))
In the app, the figure is drawn below the code.
