`polar`

Plots a curve in polar coordinates from angles and radii.

Syntax

polar(theta, rho)

Plots radius rho against angle theta in radians.

polar(theta, rho, LineSpec)

Sets color, line style and marker.

h = polar(___)

Also returns the line handle.

Description

The curve is drawn on a polar grid with circles at round radii and spokes at fixed angles. polar is the older function; polarplot has the same role with more options and polar axes properties.

Input arguments

theta: Angles in radians.
rho: Radii, the same size as theta.

Output arguments

h: Handle of the line.
