sinhint

Hyperbolic sine integral Shi(x).

Category: Mathematics > Mathematical Functions

Syntax

Y = sinhint(x)

Evaluates sinhint at x.

Description

The hyperbolic sine integral is Shi(x) = integral(sinh(t)/t, t, 0, x). It is odd, grows without bound like exp(x)/(2*x), and is related to the sine integral by Shi(i*x) = i*Si(x).

Input arguments

x
Real or complex scalar or array.

Output arguments

Y
Values of the function, with the size of x.

Example

Evaluate

sinhint([0 1 2])
Output
ans = 1×3

         0    1.0573    2.5016
