asecd
Inverse secant of each element, with the result in degrees.
Category: Mathematics > Elementary Math
Syntax
Y = asecd(X)
Returns the inverse secant of each element of X, in degrees.
Description
asecd(X) is the degree counterpart of asec. For abs(X) >= 1 the result lies in [0, 180], so asecd(2) is 60 and asecd(-1) is 180.
Input arguments
X- Numeric array of any size.
Output arguments
Y- Array of the same size as
X, in degrees.
Example
Inverse secant in degrees
asecd([1 2 -1])
Output
ans = 1×3
0 60.0000 180.0000
